Valley Sanitary District - in Indio, California, was tasked with cleaning up a 6.5 surface acre, 24 million gallon lagoon that had become 90% filled with sludge.  As an alternative to expensive dredging, Valley Sanitary contracted with Ennix for a lagoon sludge reduction program. 70% of existing sludge was removed over a six month period.
